Residents are advised that a Book of Condolence is available at St Mary’s Church. The Book of Condolence will be closed at the end of the day following Her Late Majesty’s funeral, which will take place on Monday 19th September 2022 at 11.00 am. Once the Book is closed it will be bound and stored in the Parish Council archive and the Palace so informed so that its existence can be cross referenced in the Royal Archives.
Residents are also advised that Buckingham Palace has provided an e-book of Condolence, which can be accessed via https://www.royal.uk/send-message-condolence
In addition, residents are able to provide a handwritten message of Condolence to either the Parish Clerk or any Parish Councillor. The Parish Council will ensure that any message so received is inscribed in the Parish Book of Condolence prior to its closure.
